Dan Janes was appointed Chair of the Australian National Maritime Museum Foundation on 17 August 2019. He is the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking (Australia and New Zealand) at Bank of America Securities, having previously held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Barclays and ABN AMRO. Dan Janes is a Fellow of the Institution of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He has studied maritime history and maintains an active interest in this field.
