Over the past decade child migrant memorials have been erected in Australia, Canada and Malta. Memorials have taken the form of sculptures in Fremantle and Sydney, Australia, and historical plaques in Ottawa and Stratford, Canada. An s-shaped love seat in Melbourne alludes to the plight of former child migrants caught between two countries.
