Sea Kin Stories
SEA KIN is the art-meets-science showcase of Seabirds to Seascapes, an exciting 4-year program working to protect, rehabilitate and sustainably manage New South Wales’s marine ecosystems.
Created by artists Jennifer Turpin and Sophie Raymond in collaboration with students from Drummoyne and Glebe Public School, SEA KIN takes the form of larger than life photographic portraits of children embodying iconic harbour species. Framed in ornate seaweed and displayed in a salon style hang, each portrait is paired with an imaginative audio story, voiced by the children themselves.
