BrittleStar: My name is Brittle Star, but you can call me Britty.
Copepod: And my name is Copepod, but you can call me Copy for short. 
BrittleStar: Let’s get right into the awards 
Copepod: The first award for the best performance of an Algae 
BrittleStar: The nominees are…
Copepod: Pink Coraline for being able to transport messages using smell
(Applause)
BrittleStar: Ecklonia for providing Home for tens of thousands of species across the great Southern reef 
(Applause)
Copepod: And Crayweed for the great comeback on Sydney Shoreline.

Ecklonia Radiata: Thank you thank you thank you, this is such an amazing award for best performing Algae. That’s my dream award when I was not even a day old, I always dreamed of having this award and showing all my friends and family and colleagues that I have won this award.
For my award tonight. I would like to thank my bodyguards the Port Jackson Shark and the Blue Groper for protecting me from my overwhelming fans. The sea urchins, who I just can’t control. I would like to thank the Epi Fauna for choosing me for this fabulous award, and I would also like to acknowledge Sydney who currents help me dance flow, so I have become the best performing algae, and the Rocky substrate for supporting me all these years. When I think of the award I think of all of my hard-working colleagues the - Ecklonia radiata that spans all 8000 km of the great Southern Reef this award is for all of them.
