For 2019's National Science Week, meet fascinating maritime specialists from the Australian Maritime College (AMC) as they take you on a scientific journey examining the role of nautical science in sea safety. Nautical science plays a pivotal role in keeping the seas safe for both people and the marine environment. From satellite technology, underwater autonomous vehicles to using explosive devices to help save lives, the world of maritime safety is both fascinating and scientifically challenging.
There will be hands on activities and group talks throughout the day.
