Sea science student expo

Exploring undergraduate degree options and marine science.

We are proud to be partners of the Ocean Lovers Festival, Australia’s largest cultural and science celebration for the ocean. As part of the festival, secondary school students are invited to the Sea Science Student Expo on Friday 14 March 2025 at the Australian National Maritime Museum. 

For high school students considering careers in science, technology, or environmental fields, the Sea Science Student Expo offers a unique opportunity to meet marine scientists, university course leads, and innovators.

This event includes inspiring talks, interactive displays, and access to Museum exhibitions.  Students can:

• Hear about study options in science
• Ask questions of the scientists and faculty staff
• Be inspired by how past science students have used their studies in their work
• See how science helps to restore nature and support our ocean
• Be amazed by ocean life, science and technology in Museum exhibitions
