Clean Up Australia Day

For Clean Up Australia Day, our maritime archaeologists James and Kieran, and Curatorial Assistant/Marine Biologist Cay-Leigh, dived below the depths of Darling Harbour to collect rubbish around the museum wharves.

"The good news is we got a fraction of what we found the last time we did this. So it looks like there's a lot less rubbish ending up in the basin due to the Seabin and general awareness, which is fantastic." – Dr James Hunter, post-dive
