Experience our amazing fleet! Climb aboard tall ships, navy vessels and a cold war submarine or wander past beautifully restored historic boats on our wharves.

Please be aware that sometimes our floating vessels may be temporarily closed for a variety of reasons.  This includes for voyages, maintenance, safety and other improvements to visitor experience.

Norman R. Wright & Sons

For more than 117 years, this Brisbane-based family business has played a significant role in Australian boatbuilding, producing everything from small tenders to large luxury yachts for use along the coast and on inland waterways.

This summer display offers a close look at the design, construction and legacy of Norman R. Wright & Sons, showcasing boats that have supported working life, recreation and leisure on the water for more than a century.

Photogrametry

Photogrammetry is a process where a collection of photographs are used to create a three-dimensional model. The museum is currently working to digitise our large and small vessels, as well as a vast range of other objects and artefacts.
