Autumn - Creature Feature 

Get hands on at our interactive discovery station and handle plant and animal specimens, discovering the aquatic environments of their inhabitants. Run your fingers over a crocodile jaw  peer up close at a sting ray spine, marvel at the chambers in a nautilus shell, or explore the kelps, corals and shells that ocean critters call home.   

Sundays during school term.
11:00am – 12 noon and 2:00pm – 3:00pm

5 July - Saltwater Stories

Winter - Fighting Vikings 

Wield Viking age weaponry, handle rune-carved amulets and run your hands over a reindeer pelt as you discover how archaeologists learn about the people of the past through excavation of the traces they leave behind.

Museum foyer
