Self-guided visits include access to the WWII exhibition Secret Strike - War on Our Shores, which explores the Japanese midget submarine attack on Sydney Harbour on 31 May – 1 June 1942.

Students will be able to see the stern section of Japanese midget submarine M22 and voice pipes from the HMAS Kuttabul, in addition to historic images and firsthand accounts of the attack.

A free curriculum-linked worksheet for secondary history students is available in the exhibition, or you can print your own copies and the teacher guide to help you prepare for your visit.
