Crocs are incredible animals; they are expert predators who have lived alongside us for thousands of years. 

They fascinate and frighten us. We worship them and wear them, fear them and farm them.  

We study them and showcase them, conserve them and cull them.

About the exhibition

Croc! – Lost giants to living legends is an interactive exhibition that tells the story of crocodiles and our relationship with them.

The exhibition’s combination of immersive experiences, unique cultural objects, life-sized models, stunning artworks and interactive exhibits presents the fascinating story of these remarkable animals, and our powerful connections to them.

This exhibition is a collaboration between the Australian National Maritime Museum, Queensland Museum and Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
