Bequests

Continue your commitment through making a bequest.

Your commitment to maritime interests will live on, by giving back in a way that will benefit generations to come. No matter how large or small, your bequest is a legacy that will make a difference.

How to make a bequest

There are many ways you can make a bequest. It can be for a specific sum of money or asset, a percentage of an estate or the residual once family members and friends have been provided for. A bequest can be made to the Foundation to support its overall priorities or you can specify which areas of the museum you would like to assist. The choice is yours.

We understand that wills are personal and private so please contact us for a confidential discussion if you would like advice about how to proceed.

Recognising benefactors

If you intend to leave a bequest, the Foundation would like to show our appreciation by inviting you to join our Benefactors Group. You’ll be periodically invited to exclusive activities to keep you up-to-date on the important work we undertake.

If you are interested in joining the Benefactors Group please contact the Australian National Maritime Museum Foundation Team to discuss your intentions.
