Ocean Classroom Resources: Ocean Photographer of the Year

Created by Encounter Edu, education partner of Oceanographic magazine for Ocean Photographer of the Year, these learning resources span a range of subjects and stages. These resources are designed for a global audience of teachers, with individual lesson plans including printable student worksheets, activity guides and interactive quizzes.
The worlds’ leading ocean photography competition, Ocean Photographer of the Year, is currently on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
This exhibition showcases more than 15,000 submissions from around the globe, distilled into a breathtaking gallery of winning and finalist images. From intricate macro shots of tiny amphipods to vast underwater vistas and dramatic drone scenes, these photographs reveal both the beauty of the ocean and the urgent need to protect it.
