Be Water Smart! (Years K – 2)

Get ready for the summer holidays and learn how to stay safe around water.  

Learn important life skills for water safety all around Australia to stay safe in pools, at beaches, rivers, lakes and dams or when going boating and more. This fun and interactive session will provide expert advice to help students identify safety hazards, respond to imaginary scenarios and understand how to keep themselves safe around water.  

Presented by the Royal Life Saving Society Australia and the Australian National Maritime Museum.  

This session is for students in Years K - 2. For students in Years 3 – 6, please see

This session will start at 2pm for all states observing Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (NSW, ACT, Vic & Tas), 1.30pm for Schools in SA, 1pm for Qld, 12:30pm for NT and 11am for WA. Please contact us to enquire about a session to suit your class schedule.
