A thrilling, immersive event on board the Navy destroyer HMAS Vampire - Australia’s largest museum vessel.
In 1951, a Navy vessel is travelling somewhere in the Pacific and radio silence is maintained at all costs. A forbidden, sinister SOS is transmitted, stating that the ship’s captain and all officers are dead - followed by an encrypted message. Who has killed them?
Joining an elite Commando unit on board the Navy Destroyer HMAS Vampire, Murder Mystery at Sea sleuths will puzzle out a mysterious death, inspired by a macabre, unsolved maritime mystery, to uncover the culprits. Decipher clues, crack the code and interview survivors, to discover the truth of the mystery at sea.
Two performances take place each day: an early, family-friendly session, followed by one for adults 18+. Murder Mystery at Sea is on at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
