Enjoy this new immersive, interactive and informative cultural tour of Me-Mel (Goat Island), the largest island in Sydney Harbour. You’ll be welcomed onto the island with a traditional Aboriginal Ochre and Welcome ceremony, then invited to observe and participate in a cultural song and dance performance and workshop.
Explore the natural and native floral wonders of the island, learning about the history and significance of the island to the Aboriginal peoples of the area.

You’ll even have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the use of traditional artefacts and implements through a demonstration and workshop.

Tribal Warrior's Mari Nawi
Mari Nawi (meaning ‘big canoe’ in the Eora language) is a motor vessel used for cruises on Sydney Harbour with an Aboriginal focus. Owned and operated by the Tribal Warrior Association, Mari Nawi is the only Aboriginal commercial charter service on Sydney Harbour.
The Tribal Warrior Association provides Aboriginal people with rare and valuable training, recreational, social and educational opportunities that help unit their communities and revitalise traditional cultural values. The boat acts as a training vessel for their maritime programs and helps forge a vital link of appreciation, respect and understanding between Aboriginal and non-indigenous people.
