Farallon DPV-MK III underwater scooter
Ron mounted a light on the front of this DPV that Valerie could use it to take pictures. It didn’t go very fast, about 3 knots (5 kilometres) per hour, but she loved it.
Valerie wrote to the manufacturer and asked him how much this diver-propelled vehicle (DPV) cost. At $800 it was too expensive, so he gave it to her. She scooted around underwater in the inland caves at Ewens Ponds and Piccaninnie Ponds, South Australia.
