An avid sailor, David Mathlin has a strong interest in maritime history. With qualifications in science, engineering and business, he worked with Sinclair Knight Merz Ltd for many years, becoming senior principal and chairing the Australian arm. He has served as a Director of the Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund and of the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation and is on the Chairman’s Council of the Australian Chamber Orchestra. David Mathlin is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.&nbsp;
